Who is God?

This question has been asked by many down the ages. Some would argue that there isn't even a God. To anyone not willing to accept the existence of God it is probably impossible to prove His existence. On the other hand, those who are willing to accept there is a God it is worth finding out who He is!

The Bible claims to be the Word of God to humanity. It claims to reveal who God is. It tells us that He is the creator of life, He is the sustainer of life and ultimately when our life on earth is ended we will face Him as judge.

Just as any creature is responsible to its master, so we are responsible before God. As our judge, in order to obtain His favour, we must do what He requires of us. Quite contrary to popular thought, He doesn't require us to be good, or to do more right than wrong. The question in the day of judgement will be "What have you done with my Son, Jesus?"
